交響情人夢的日劇, 覺得很有意思. 其實古典音樂要打入人們的生活, 就是需要靠視覺, 或者是像是電視劇也可以. 這種成果是很可觀的
"由於作品大受歡迎的關係,在日本有不少人再度留意古典音樂,甚至在電視劇播出不久,由新日本愛樂提供貝多芬第七交響曲,手機下載數量急升20倍。連新日本愛樂定期演奏會門票正式發售一開始不久售罄,使靜寂的古典音樂界再次熱鬧起來,這種稱為野田惠現象(のだめ現象)""在台灣,台北愛樂管弦樂團以 交響情人夢音樂為題的音樂會(非官方活動),將於2007年8月26日、於台灣國家音樂廳演出,門票發售後三天全部售罄。這場音樂會的特色在於,使用部落 格作為主要宣傳模式,提供網友票選音樂會名稱與曲目的機會,發表了數篇關於古典音樂的曲介與導聆,受到廣大迴響,8月27日在室外加演一場"好的音樂是沒有隔閡的, 但會因為不常接觸, 會聽不懂那一種語言. 接觸是很重要的, 有多少很普通的歌是不斷的撥放撥到紅的? 但是確實是需要與其他的東西結合才會有加大的效應.

可是要找到讓我覺得適合的老師更難耶~
雖然沒有去觀模看看一般坊間音樂教室的教學是如何?
但是去尋問的結果總是感覺很差咧~
因為根本不知道老師是怎麼樣的一個人
整個感覺就是很商業化
應該是到了這年紀會開始思考「我要的是什麼?」吧
不像小時候是家裡旁邊如果有音樂教室可能就去學了@@
直接付了錢開始學習
老師說什麼就是什麼
沒有動腦去思考到底為了什麼而學
還好有爬文

其實有很多方式, 比方說一開始的時候一個星期上一次, 打基礎. 稍微好一點以後, 以兩個星期上一次的方式, 一次上久一點. 我的建議是開始基礎打好一點. :)
我目前也在實驗性的錄製幫助學生練習的教材, 因為有太多人沒有辦法每一個星期都上課.
我有自己的教室, 一般都是在哪裡上課.

Wow...Meatball, this is a GREAT news! AJ's grandparents house is so close to where you live. I'm thinking to take him back to Taiwan in summer 2008. Would you mind to help AJ studying violin by then even just for a short term. He doesn't know how to read Chinese, but he's very familiar with your name MEATBALL, because I often mentioned to him about your articles. According to his violin program, he'll probably still in Russian Etude for school 3-5 level focus on shifting positions, scales(??), Schradieck finger exercises in Seven Positions Book, and he'll be playing Seitz Concerto G-dur with a quartte in May next year. Even it's on vacation, he still needs to study whatever his maestro's assignments. It's better for him to study with a professional than with me.
If you are willing to do it for only short term, I'll definitely contact you then. My folks can show me how to get to your home, because I don't know many other places in Taipei anyway....Gracias!!

Frankly, on the first glance of your comment, I almost wanted to say no. You see, his maestro has done a wonderful job, and I feel we should have a "no touching no interfering" sign posted on AJ's forehead as far as having a 2nd teacher goes. (cus I think his maestro is a very good!)
But on the 2nd read, I realised I will be helping him with his maestro's assignments. So yes, certainly I can try to get to him to work through them faster and attempt to answer his questions, that's not a problem.

Yes! I totally agree with you, and I understand each musician has very distinct style. After reading your BLOG for a while, I just know your students are very lucky to have you. You might or might not know it, but you sure will make huge impact to inspire your violin students. Gracias!! If AJ and I are going back to Taiwan, we are so going to contact with you. Hopefully, we'll have chance to enjoy the concert from "The Fiddlers Ensemble"...HaHa!! Thanks again!!

It is just that russian stuffs are difficult to get, and I would like to collect as many different things as possible... thanks!
I know what you meant. They are good stuff! Those Russian musicians only use their own materials for students. It would be hard for me to ask them for copying, because I found out during the years they didn't like to share with others, even between their own....I guess it's the culture thing.
I have some in my hands so far, they are either for AJ's current level or for his future study. I'll write the list of what I have, but if you do your own reserch and let me know any other specific etudes you are interested in, I can ask AJ's maestro to buy them for me. He travels to Moscow every August and for sure he'll do me this favor. Now let's see what I've got...

Actually I have almost everything you listed, and I don't know any Russian stuffs, that's the problem. I may not be looking for something specific, but more like teaching methods and how materials are used to achieve certain effects.
For example, my prof and mimi zweig all advocate wiggling student's finger to learn vibrato, violin master class has this Dounis's rubbing exercise. I have a set of routine that takes about 10 mins, a combination of Dounis and Fischer's techniques plus some invention of my own.
I am looking for stuffs like this. I thought AJ had been using some unusual materials from Russia, but it seems that it is the way the materials are used and how the maestro teaches AJ that makes the difference... that's prob not something I can "steal" easily... hmm....

That's so true! Just like vibrato, there was never a specific etude for exercise this technique. It's the teaching method. He only showed AJ how to do it and started very slow(sounded extremely funny though), then later on more and more pieces or etudes that he told AJ to play with vibrato. He did mention to me one time that someone wrote a book that pretty much includes everything you need to know about violin. I've never picked up his pronunciation. It's probably already on your book list. I'll ask him again to confirm about it. He told me there were stores that sell everything about David Oistrakh....the entire stores. I'm so jealous.

I would guess it is Dounis. He didn't write it but his student wrote it for him. That book is darn close to include everything about violin playing! Simon Fischer's "The Basics" and "Practices" are excellent additions too.
But they have a lot of unresolved issues though, I have been trying very hard to fill the gaps.
Argghhhhh... I can't read Russian! >_< ... Oistrakh is my violin hero!
I don't read Russian. According to his pronunciation, the name was "Grigorian"(spelled in Spanish, but should be similar in English too). He said this "Grigorian" wrote everything about violin......I have no idea. If you know anything about this person or his book, please let me know....I'm lazy. ^_^

Here is another one with few more seconds. It was the excertp of the very last encore piece(quintette)..I also uploaded AJ's recent practice in the blog. Maestro said that AJ got this "enfermedad de ninos"...children's common problem...acelerando..wanting to play faster and faster..you'll see! HaHa!!

I remember to confirm with the maestro, the name wasn't Dounis or Gregorian(I thought)...the name was pronounced as "Yankilaivich".
