Mr Chang tried very hard to come up with that video. His staccato at that tempo becomes unclear (esp around the A string part), partly because he had to use very short bow for each note too, and naturally scratchy because of the same reasons.
I think staccato doesn't sound very great compare to most violin bowing techniques (but it is COOL!), so I tried to make it as even and as clean as possible.
However, THAT seems to be a wrong choice. I have to be scratchy and uneven so I will sound like playing staccato according to 期待落空 in http://www.concerts.idv.tw/discuss/view_discuss.php?autono=35286

I don't know anything about violin, but yours sounds very nice, and the other sound kinda irritates my hearing.....

這本來就是錄影, 雖然說是用webcam + 電腦 mic 錄的, 品質比較差一點. 我的大頭一直入鏡, 很難避開, 所以就乾脆只放聲音, 把影像抓掉了. 我還有另外一個理由不放, 不過這我們團練的時候再談.
